چکیده
Mobile devices and technologies have become increasingly popular, offering comparable storage computational capabilities to desktop computers allowing users store interact with sensitive private information. The security protection of such personal information are becoming more important since mobile vulnerable unauthorized access or theft. User authentication is a task paramount importance that grants legitimate at the point entry continuously through usage session. This made possible today's smartphones' embedded sensors enable continuous implicit user by capturing behavioral biometrics traits. In this article, we survey than 140 recent biometric-based approaches for authentication, including motion-based methods (28 studies), gait-based (19 keystroke dynamics-based (20 touch gesture-based (29 voice-based (16 multimodal-based (34 studies). provides an overview current state-of-the-art using captured sensors, insights open challenges adoption, usability, performance.

A Survey on Behavioral Biometric Authentication on Smartphones
Recent research has shown the possibility of using smartphones’ sensors and accessories to extract some behavioral attributes such as touch dynamics, keystroke dynamics and gait recognition. These attributes are known as behavioral biometrics and could be used to verify or identify users implicitly and continuously on smartphones. The authentication systems that have been built based on these b...

s The conventional method for user authentication is a password known to the user only. There is no security in the use of passwords if the password is known to an imposter and also it can be forgotten. So it is necessary to develop a better security system. Hence, to improve the user authentication passwords are replaced with biometric identification of the user. Thus usage of biometrics in au...

متن کاملIntrusion Detection and Continuous Authentication using Multimodal Biometrics in MANETS - A Survey
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) have promised a wide variety of applications. However, they are often deployed in potentially adverse or even hostile environments. The mobile nodes are exposed to various kinds of attacks and most of the times the intruders get into network, in order to hold illegal authority over the nodes. Multimodal biometric technology provides potential solutions for continu...
